The worst Crossfit things Ive ever seen!

These are some of the worst Crossfit things that I have ever seen. To be honest I like the idea of crossfit, but the execution is so terrible on so many levels it makes me want to vomit up my liver.

Yes this image is serious, very serious! How friggin stupid can you be!?!?! The whole idea of doing Olympic style lifts for repetition is stupid in itself adding a baby to your chest while doing it is criminal. Gotta get in that WOD no matter what! I cross train all the time, in fact Ive been cross training for nearly 18 years. I have never once given one of my routines a cute girly name nor have I jeopardized my own health or the health of those around me. My real question is, when are these idiots doing this dangerous stuff going to stop. When are you going to legitimize crossfit into something safe something productive and something that will actually work long term.

I would like to see one Crossfit gym that actually teaches these lifts corrrectly, you wont find one.  These lifts take years to learn and longer to master, and lifters still get hurt.

I would say the majority of people that do crossfit have no idea what the point of a clean and jerk really is or why it is so important in all athletics. So let me make it clear for anyone reading this, they are to develop power in the posterior chain particularly Type II muscle fiber.  Practicing olympic lifts for endurance is akin to asking a sprinter to only train long distance.  Its idiotic dangerous and it doesnt work.  Will the average coach dwelling Peggy Bundy lose weight and sweat like crazy?  Absolutely, but that doesnt mean its the right way to do things.

If I see one more person doing kipping pull up Im going to tackle them off the chin up bar. No its not a real pull up and no it is not safe.  Will you get away with it for a while, absolutely, will you eventually get hurt, YES.

Im waiting for Crossfit to stop the bullshit and turn itself into a legitimate fitness trend because they are getting popular and have the potential to do great things.  The people who are in charge need to get their heads out of their asses and teach people properly.  Crossfit can be great but its gonna get a lot of people hurt before they make it legitimate.
